Immediate Supervisor: Warehouse Assistant Manager


Job Purpose 
Responsible for maintaining knowledge of all Maedac product lines, fulfilling and delivering orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate, timely, and safe product handling. This role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently under time constraints. The position also supports warehouse operations, equipment maintenance, and adherence to company standards.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge of product lines and inventory.
  • Communicate daily with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Pull, verify, load, and deliver orders to designated locations.
  • Merchandise and rotate products at client locations per company guidelines.
  • Manage cash and payment systems on assigned routes.
  • Support weekly container unloading and daily warehouse stock rotation.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment.
  • Attend company meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Job Tasks:

  • Pull and prepare orders, verify accuracy, and load into delivery vehicles.
  • Operate company trucks (including 12'–16' box trucks) and delivery equipment such as dollies and pallet jacks.
  • Deliver and unload products safely at offsite locations; merchandise shelves and rotate stock when required.
  • Return unused materials, cases, or packaging to the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet lifts, man lifts) safely.
  • Assist in physical inventories, stock verification, and warehouse layout optimization.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of company vehicles, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Participate in training and skill development as approved by the company.

Education and Experience

  • Clean police record 
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse or delivery role.
  • Valid and clean driver’s license (Group 3 required).
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet lifts, and related warehouse equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale/Ordering systems (e.g., Counterpoint).
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word).

Communication Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, report updates, and work in a team environment.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see (depth perception, near/far acuity), hear, and use fingers for manual tasks.
  • Ability to stand, push/pull, climb, stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Medium work: frequent lifting of 15–20 lbs; occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Drive company vehicles as required.
  • Overtime as negotiated with employer.

Hours of work

  • Standard daily shift of 8 hours plus a ½-hour paid lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
  • Weekly hours up to 45.
  • Saturday work required unless otherwise indicated by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Saturday work as required, Work day is 7am-4pm but adjustments are made to 
    complete sales goals
